    Computer Center   

There are fifteen computers available for use by Library cardholders.  Each computer has Internet access and Microsoft Office software.  These computers have a once per day, 2 hour time limit. 

There are also four Express computers with a 30 minute time limit.  These computers are available to any Library visitor with a valid driver's license or state issued I.D. 

A User Agreement Policy form must first be filled out.  Parents of minors under the age of 17 must fill out this form for each child.

There is no fee for use of the computers.  There is a per page fee for printing.  Black and white printouts are 15 cents per page, and Color printouts are 50 cents per page.

Computer Classes

The Library offers several computer classes in English and Spanish to patrons who have library cards.

E-mail for Beginners: This class covers the basic steps to setting up an online e-mail account.

Basic Microsoft Word: In this class, patrons will learn how to use some of the features of this software.

Internet Basics: Discuss the major uses of the internet and practice basic webpage navigation.

Computer Basics I&II: Patrons learn the basics of how to turn on a computer, basic desktop navigation, and other useful hints for first time computer users.

Job Searching & Resume Building: Teaches patrons how to use a computer to search the Internet for jobs and create a professional resume.
